DIPLOMA IN FOOD HYGIENE
INTRODUCTION
This advanced level course is nationally recognised as a leading food
hygiene qualification for managers and supervisors in the food industries.
Success in the examination is qualification for Membership of the Royal
Institute of Public Health (MRIPH).
ENTRY
QUALIFICATIONS
Only persons holding an approved intermediate level qualification
(CIEH, RSH or RIPHH) will be accepted for this programme. A pre-course
refresher is available at reasonable cost for those who took their intermediate
some time ago.

All students
will need a copy of 'Hygiene for Management' by R Sprenger that will be
used as the course textbook. In addition to the course work there is set
'homework' (based upon previous exam questions) and students are expected
to undertake their own study/revision.
EXAMINATION
2 x 2 hour written papers followed by a 15 minute oral examination.
